Knihy o investičních arbitrážích za rok 2014

John Louth z OUP sestavil pěkný přehled knih o mezinárodním právu psaných v angličtině, němčině nebo francouzštině, které byly vydány mezi dubnem 2014 a březnem 2015. Výsledkem je seznam 401 knih (zařazeny nebyly prosté úvody a ročenky).

Přehled je rozdělen podle jazyka, vydavatelství a oblasti mezinárodního práva, které se kniha věnuje. Nejvíce knih se zabývalo lidskými právy, následují témata užití síly, mezinárodní organizace a mezinárodní trestní právo (viz graf níže). Přehled zahrnuje i překrývající se kategorie o právu mezinárodních investic a ohledně řešení sporů. V případě řešení sporů bylo podle přehledu vydáno 16 knih a v případě mezinárodního práva ochrany investic to bylo 24 knih (některé tituly jsou v obou kategoriích - seznam viz dále).

Nejaktivnější mezi vydavatelstvími bylo Cambridge University Press (72 knih), pak OUP (69), Brill-Nijhoff (56) a Routledge (44). Mezi “hot topics” loni patřily otázky postkonfliktní a tranzitivní spravedlnosti (13), terorismus (7), kybertémata (7), korupce (6), hospodářská, sociální a kulturní práva (6) nebo změny klimatu (5). Co se týče investičních arbitráží, přehled zahrnuje především dvě relevantní kategorie. Jednak “řešení sporů” a jednak “právo mezinárodních investic” (viz tabulky níže). I v ostatních kategoriích se ale samozřejmě najdou knihy relevantní pro arbitráže a také další zajímavé kousky.
